This bed is made of rustic hickory with an oil finish for a natural look. This would look great in any log cabin or rustic vacation home. The bed is made of solid, knotty hickory. The rustic headboard and footboard have solid hickory wood panels set in with nice big posts on the corners. The rustic side rails, as well, are made of hickory and bolt on with rustic, locally made hardware. The headboard is approximately 62" tall and the footboard is approximately 37" tall. If you love this bed but want it a little different or maybe just a headboard, NO PROBLEM! We custom build ANYTHING. If you prefer a lacquer finish on the bed, we can do that for you at a slight additional cost, however, for a really rustic look, we suggest just the oil finish. This is a great looking bed that does not need a log cabin or lodge. It's rustic, elegant and therefore will go with a lot of different decor as well as other rustic furniture.
